Deputy PM says situation on Russia’s labor market still stable

MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) -- The situation on Russia’s labor market is still stable, the number of the registered unemployed is below 0.9%, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said as quoted by her office on Friday.

“Thanks to well-timed preventive measures to support the economy and employment, a stable situation persists on the labor market. The number of the registered unemployed is still below 0.9% of the entire labor force,” she said.

Golikova also said that the number of the registered unemployed fell by 5,600 people to 681,400 people in July 4–Monday. But the number of companies changing their working schedules continues to rise.
